The King of AutoCAD

  • This will be a page of useful tips for AutoCAD users out there. Additionally, there will be a challenge for all of you: if you can stump me with an AutoCAD question that I can't solve, then you get something. What it is, I don't know yet. Some conditions:
    • Only 2D vanilla AutoCAD questions. My expertise is in the HVAC-like disciplines. What I mean by this is don't ask me about the fancy AutoCAD packages like Inventor, Civil3D, etc.
    • No programming questions. I don't write AutoCAD programs or scripts. I just know the answers to the problems you are having using the program AutoCAD.
    • Examples: "Why can't I see the layers on my xref?", "How can I do such and such with my dynamic block?" Stuff like that.
